The rules for using DJI Flight Data. Short, readable, and in line with how a free hobbyist tool should be operated.
1. Acceptance
By using djiflightdata.com ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
2. The Service
DJI Flight Data is a free, best-effort utility for parsing DJIFlightRecord logs and analyzing radiometric R-JPEG thermal images. It is provided "as is" with no uptime guarantee, no support SLA, and no commercial warranty.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload malware, exploit payloads, or files you don't have the right to process.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or probe the Service for vulnerabilities outside of responsible disclosure.
- Scrape the Service at volumes that degrade availability for other users.
- Use the Service to process personal data of third parties in violation of applicable law.
- Reverse engineer, redistribute, or rebrand the Service or its output as your own product.
4. Your data
You retain all rights to the flight logs and images you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive right to process it solely to provide the features of the Service to you. See the Privacy Policy for storage and deletion details.
5. No warranty — use for real flight decisions at your own risk
Output from the Service is provided for informational purposes only. Parsed telemetry, charts, thermal measurements, and exported reports may contain errors or omissions. Do not rely on the Service as the sole source for:
- Aviation safety decisions or airworthiness determinations.
- Insurance claims, accident investigations, or legal proceedings without independent verification.
- Quantitative thermal measurements in regulated inspections (use calibrated OEM tooling).
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator of the Service shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising out of your use of the Service.
7. Service availability & changes
The Service may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice. Features may be added or removed. If the Service is permanently shut down, a notice will be posted on the homepage at least 30 days in advance where reasonably possible.
8. Third-party trademarks
"DJI", "DJIFlightRecord", "DJI Fly", and "DJI Go" are trademarks of SZ DJI Technology Co., Ltd. This Service is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by DJI.
9. Changes to these terms
If these terms are updated, the "Last updated" date above will change. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
